Our Values

People matter to God' they ought to matter to the church.
"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, com, buy and eat!" Revelation 22:17; Isaiah 55:1,2; Hebrews 12:15; Isaiah 1:18; Ephesians 2:4,5; Romans 5:6-8

The church is a trauma center for the wounded.
"We who are strong ought to bear with the feelings of the weak and not to please ourselves.  Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, and build him up." Romans 15:1,2; Luke 10:30-37; Galatians 6:1,2; 2Corinthians 1:4; Psalm 56:8

Authenticity frees people and glorifies God in the process.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1John 1:9; 1John 2:6; James 1:22; Proverbs 28:13; 1John 1:8

The church should be culturally relevant and remain doctrinally pure.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." Hebrews 13:8; Hebrews 4:12; 2Timothy 4:3; 1Corinthians 9:22,23

Full Devotion to Christ is normal.
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." Matthew 5:6; Matthew 5:1-17

Life change happens best in community.
"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love, honor one another above yourselves." Romans 12:10; Proverbs 27:17; Hebrews 10:24

Worship is a Lifestyle.
"As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.  My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.  When can I go and meet with God?" Psalm 42:1,2; Psalm 46:10; Psalm 103:1,2; Colossians 3:16; Psalm 103.22

Prayer is the lifeline of the church.
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.  This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." John 15:7,8

Ministry happens best in teams.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." Hebrews 10:24
